The opportunity – Te tūranga

As Trading Specialist, reporting to Pricing & Inventory Manager, you will

• Represent TVNZ in market in all trading functions: deal negotiation, management and position reporting.
  Advise and make recommendations in the development of trading strategies for TVNZ, Advise and make recommendations in the development of trading strategies for TVNZ,
  Innovate, develop and promote ‘go to market’ trading positioning and techniques from internal methodologies to external market commentary and authority and channel ambassador.
  Seek out, understand and popularise external trading models and innovations that TVNZ could capitalise on should they be adopted by TVNZ or the competition.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Success in this role requires:

• Macro market understanding, with experience providing insights to inform and develop trading strategies
  Understanding of revenue shares by network, audience, reach and frequency performances in in historical, current and future market contexts
  Ability to solve complex problems through probing and analysis to reach effective solutions.
  Strong communication and presenting skills, in both written and verbal form.
  Collaborate with a diverse range of people to achieve business goals.
  Dedicated to providing the highest product and services that meet the needs and requirements of internal and external customers.
  Demonstrate high levels of integrity, trust and honesty.
  Apply pragmatism and a balanced view when faced with conflicting demands
  Effectively sources, analyses and applies relevant information and intelligence to create mutually beneficial solutions. Actively shares information and knowledge with own and other teams.
