As Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in optimising revenue performance by delivering actionable insights, supporting strategic pricing decisions, and ensuring a competitive market position. In this role, you will need to focus on analysing market trends, inventory utilisation and pricing strategies, to drive commercial outcomes that enhance TVNZ’s revenue potential.
The Pricing and Inventory team drives the strategic commercial levers that maximise TVNZ’s revenue potential. As a core analytical and insights engine, the team delivers data-driven pricing strategies, media market intelligence, and revenue-enhancing initiatives to drive commercial success.

What we’re looking for – Tā mātou e kimi nei
To be successful in this role, we are looking for
- Couple of years’ experience in either a media, pricing, or an analytical role.
Tertiary qualification with a business/numerical bias, preferable but not mandatory if relevant business experience evident.
Strong commercial acumen with a focus on revenue growth.
Advanced Excel skills with experience in data models and BI tools.
Proven ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights.
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience working with senior stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with teams.
Knowledge of supply and demand principles in the media industry.
Experience in pricing strategy and yield management
Exposure to sales or commercial finance environments.
