In this leadership role as GM – Sales reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for developing, driving, and executing the strategy to accelerate digital revenue. The focus will be on
- Leading the successful delivery of TVNZ’s commercial outcomes across all TV and digital platforms and revenue streams in line with the agreed strategic goals and operating plans.
Driving the successful planning and delivery of advertising revenue across our identified preferential client and agency base.
Driving strategy, planning, and execution of commercial opportunities across TVNZ’s platforms and foster a culture of collaboration across TVNZ
Leading our revenue strategies to enable us to deliver on our revenue targets and growth aspirations.
Contributing to TVNZ’s goal to be a sustainable business with positive EBITDAF from FY28 and beyond

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the
- Sophisticated internal and external stakeholder management and influencing skills and proven ability to influence and lead teams in an environment of competing interests and limited resources
Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability leading high performing teams
Exceptional strategic sales delivery and successful revenue generation in multimillion dollar environments, and extensive commercial experience at a strategic level
Extensive experience managing large commercial partnerships with agency and advertising partners
Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build internal and external relationships ensuring co-operation across functions and up and down the hierarchy. Able to represent TVNZ at a senior level externally and gain commitment
