The opportunity – Te tūranga 

As Business Director reporting to Head of Agency, you will be responsible for implementing the Revenue Delivery strategy for your agency portfolio. The role will be accountable for delivery of sales revenue for TV, Digital and Partnerships investment, while managing key relationship and implementation requirements for the agency and advertiser

Your focus in this role will be on

  • Develop and champion an annual account plan that will deliver against revenue budgets for Digital, Linear and Partnerships.
    Champion TVNZ+ Digital Strategy, creating and executing Go-To Market strategy and tactics to deliver to the revenue growth ambitions against TVNZ’s digital platforms.
    Serve as the primary point of contact for key agency partners, fostering strong and trusted relationships, ensuring all key trade communications, media and TVNZ updates, and innovations are used as priority engagement opportunities.
    Collaborate with agency stakeholders to co-create media strategies and solutions that deliver measurable results for their clients.

  • Digital ambition and expertise – and champions digital innovation
    Passion and understanding of the changing Marketing and Media landscape and how TV and Online work together.
    Strong sales and negotiation skills.
    Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
    Media planning and buying skills.
    Wealth of media experience
    Strong media relationship skills
    Innovation mindset
    Manages time and resources effectively. Works well under pressure
    Data driven – strong analytical skills, ability to derive insights and next steps from data
    Some working knowledge of any of the following systems including; Media Book booking system, Intilecta, Digital sales systems, Google Ad Manager, Power BI, Nielsen research system, TV Map and Microsoft software is an advantage.
