On behalf of our tertiary education client, the Pond Recruitment is on the search for an accomplished Marketing Manager, with strong experience in the disciplines of Acquisition and Lead Generation (B2B & B2C). This role is underpinned also by strong digital marketing practices, online paid media and will require the management of a team of four others. The ideal person will be results driven, strong in data analytics, customer insights, and have had exposure to CX, customer buying or procurement journeys online. As well, they will have strong leadership, and mentoring abilities. You’ll be a passionate individual with great communication skills and an excellent work ethic.

This managerial position is designed to inspire and develop the marketing team of four, which operates like an in-house agency. This critical position involves providing leadership and direction to a diverse group of intermediate level marketers, ensuring they are well-integrated, highly motivated, proactive, accountable and effectively aligned with our internationalisation student acquisition strategy. As well you will get strategic support from the Director of Marketing who you will report to.

In summary this senior level marketing role will support our tertiary clients strategic objectives for strong international student recruitment, acquisition and sales.

The breakdown

We are looking for an Marketing Manager with:

  • Min 8+ years’ marketing experience
  • Expertise in B2B, Acquisition & Lead Generation marketing
  • Relevant University Qualification

You’ll have experience in Strategy, Planning & Decision Making…  

  • Create, develop and deliver international marketing and recruitment campaigns
  • Develop region-specific marketing strategies and plans to drive attraction, conversion and sales from offshore
  • Manage an international marketing budget that’s cost effective and maximises ROI
  • Deliver customer engagement results & enquires KPI’s
  • Planning and implementing multi-channel demand generation campaigns in international markets

You’ll have knowledge in….  

  • The tenets of traditional and demand generation B2B and B2C marketing
  • Conducting service/product research for marketing plans across multiple channels to diverse audiences
  • Working alongside media or creative agencies.
  • Targeting experience including segment and messaging strategies
  • Communications and information technology

You’ll have digital marketing experience in …

  • Knowledge of digital and social media marketing techniques including multichannel
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing campaign metrics and KPI’s
  • Measuring, analysing and reporting campaign performance.
  • Marketing technology experience and digital conversion
  • A high level of digital literacy in digital marketing

The reward 

  • Salary $130-140k per annum + Kiwisaver
  • Or / $70 Hour (if you prefer to contract as a sole trader)
