On behalf of our client, The Pond Recruitment Agency is looking for an Intermediate Sales Executive with at least 2 years proven sales, account management, or client service experience to join an independent NZ media company.

Day-to-day you will work alongside the Commercial Director to increase revenue through selling media & ad campaigns spanning magazines, websites, social platforms, and events. This will require an outgoing person, someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone or get in front of a room of people. You will be a keen relationship builder, confident in your ability to support across all key clients and maintain an organised pipeline – tracking all sales activities through the CRM system.

The breakdown

We are looking for a Sales Executive with:

  • 2 years of sales or account management experience
  • Understanding of the NZ media and advertising industries is advantageous

Key responsibilities…

  • Work with the Commercial Director to sell partnership packages across online, print, events, and content marketing
  • Support the Commercial Director across weekly sales activity
  • Manage your own small book of clients
  • Support with innovating and executing new creative strategies to increase revenue
  • Participate in sales activity, including in-person and video call pitches & presentations
  • Proven ability to solution sell and manage media packages
  • Foster relationships with key clients to build rapport and cultivate your own client portfolio
  • Supporting customer onboarding, success, and support function as needed
  • Maintain an organised pipeline and track all sales activities through the CRM system
  • Pursue agreed sales KPIs with energy and drive
