On behalf of our agency client, The Pond Recruitment is recruiting for a dynamic, personable, and relationship-led individual to step into this digital performance marketing role. This role requires someone to take ownership of digital marketing strategies across various platforms, including Paid Social, Paid Google, SEO, SEM, CRO, and more. You will take lead of an established and busy portfolio of clients, mostly from the Beauty & Wellness, Fashion & Retail, Commercial Services, and FMCG industries – cool and progressive NZ brands on the rise!

The primary focus of the role is to drive client strategy, performance, and growth as well as execute daily account-level management. You will communicate directly with the client, using your digital smarts and expertise to help guide and shape the digital strategy direction and execution. You will be personable, and a natural at forming strong relationships both externally, and internally for the best functionality and performance of the account. You will take a best-in-class approach to your work and clients, ensuring expectations are exceeded and your digital strategies deliver tangible engagement and conversion results for your clients.

The Breakdown

We are looking for a digital marketing professional with…

  • Min 3+ years’ experience delivering paid digital performance marketing
  • Relevant agency or inhouse experience welcomed

Key Responsibilities and skills…

  • Develop and execute intelligent and modern digital strategies to increase engagement and drive performance
  • Own, deploy and manage new campaigns across multiple channels, monitoring, and optimising client ad accounts on a weekly basis
  • Reviewing results, revising Quarterly budgets, and pre-planning digital marketing calendars with each client in line with key industry dates and new releases
  • End to end creation of ad accounts, including existing and new channel setup and campaign creation, pixel installation, and tracking
  • Be the subject matter expert your clients can’t live without
  • Building client relationships to understand their specific marketing/business goals
  • Regular comms with clients to discuss campaign results, progress, and optimisation for future success
