Marketing Co-ordinator – 12 Month Contract

Overview

Our client is a New Zealand owned and operated business in the tourism industry, one of the South Island’s leading visitor attractions, welcoming over 500,000 customers per year.  They are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support the sales and marketing team on a 12 month contract.

The right person for this role will be someone who has some prior experience in the digital marketing area and can hit the ground running, especially experienced in Email Marketing – creating (copywriting) and implementing email marketing campaigns, maintaining databases, with a good understanding of audience targeting.

Other requirements include website maintenance, coordination of promotions, including point of sale requirements and internal communications, coordination of design and print requirements, including signage and brochures and customer research – maintain and collate monthly reports on customer surveys.

Part of a small hands-on team, you will be happy to jump in and help with other marketing and administration tasks as required.

A customer and team-focused approach, with strong detail and problem-solving skills and the ability to self-manage and effectively prioritise tasks, is essential.

Ideally, the successful applicant would be based in Hanmer Springs or the Christchurch area, however, remote working arrangements are an option.
