Overview
Our client is a highly regarded agency group with international affiliation. Located in the heart of Auckland city, with a focus across Creative, Media and Data, they are looking for a Senior Account Manager/Marketing Specialist for a 3 month contract.
Working inhouse with their client on behalf of the agency to manage workflow, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing the coordination and execution of compelling marketing communications and activity across one of their clients internal projects.
Responsibilities include coordinating marketing activity, communications and execution with external agencies (e.g. creative and PR), liaising with internal stakeholders, financial management, reporting and day-to-day optimisation of marketing channels to achieve objectives on project.
With a marketing qualification and 4 + years experience in an agency environment, you will have excellent communication skills, with confidence in managing stakeholders and relationships with external creative agencies, and the proven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities, work to deadlines and deliverables and strong attention to detail. You will possess excellent organisational and presentation skills, the ability to create and recognise effective copywriting and be self-led and have the ability to pick things up quickly and hit the ground running.
Highly desired is experience in the insurance industry, or financial or health services, an understanding of digital and social media, experience in direct & database marketing practices and experience in working with PR activities, sponsorship and events.
You will have a great attitude and be resilient and adaptable. This is a great opportunity to get in with a global agency, with the potential to extend or become permanent.
