Marketing & Event Manager

Overview

Our client is an Auckland-based hospitality group, proudly adding to the fabric of Auckland through unique food and entertainment experiences. They are looking for a dynamic Marketing and Events Manager to join their CBD Auckland based head office.

This is an integral role for the group, where you will be delivering and implementing marketing campaigns and events to drive sales performance and venues awareness. It is a diverse and fast paced role, reporting to the CEO.

You will be managing a small team including a graphic designer, and will be responsible for leading the day to day marketing activities and implementing targeted marketing campaigns, developing marketing initiatives and partnerships to enhance visibility and guest experience and managing and promote venue-specific and group-wide events. You will manage and support the creation of engaging content across digital channels, ensuring alignment with brand identity and coordinate PR activations, influencer collaborations, and local business partnerships.

The right person for this role will have 5+ years’ experience in a Marketing Manager role in Hospitality, Events or Retail industries, with experience in managing multiple brands and strong and proven expertise in digital marketing, including direct marketing tools and channels, especially in the social media space.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to operate in a fast-paced commercial environment, managing multiple tasks and reacting to changing priorities, is a must.
