Account Executive

Overview

Our client is a renowned global agency in the New Zealand market. With a key client in the consumer electronics sector, they are looking for an Accounts Executive to join their team located on the North Shore, Auckland.

With a relevant tertiary degree and ideally 1+ years agency experience under your belt, you will be a strategically minded individual with passion for learning and who is keen to deliver projects across all marketing channels, with knowledge across ATL, digital and social marketing.

You will be armed with great communication skills and a desire to learn about how ad agencies work – from brief, to creative, to delivery and results reporting.

Working closely with Account Manager, Account Director, Creative Studio and specialised off-shore teams, you will be a key part in the engine of the agency and should be comfortable working with clients, digital, creative, retail, strategy and production team members.

You will help to keep the day-to-day accounts, including status meetings, finances, timings, reporting, with an understanding of agency process from client brief, to delivery and campaign measurement and manage client vendors as required.

With a knowledge of NZ ATL and digital media platforms types (from content and targeting perspective), you will have a sound understanding of integrated campaigns with cross-agency teams and media agencies.

You will have a proactive and pragmatic approach, able to identify tactical opportunities while also delivering to the plan, plus strategically minded, comfortable critically analysing strategies and consulting colleagues and clients on strategic approaches and confident to speak up and present ideas. You will have high attention to detail, and be focused and productive under pressure.
