Our client is a retail marketing agency working with some of NZ’s most iconic consumer brands and retailers to boost shopper engagement and conversion. They are looking for an Account Director to join their central Auckland city team.
This role is perfect for someone with advertising or shopper marketing agency experience, strong client management skills, and a passion for retail innovation. As a key liaison between clients and internal teams, you will ensure campaigns are executed seamlessly, on time, and on budget.
With 5+ years of experience in account management within an agency or marketing environment and a strong understanding of retail and FMCG marketing and how to influence shopper behaviour, you will have excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities with confidence.
The right person for this role will have strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail, experience in developing creative briefs and working closely with creative teams and a proactive and solutions-focused approach, always looking for ways to add value.
A passion for innovation and emerging retail technologies—whether it is AI-driven targeting, in-store digital experiences, or new consumer engagement tools, is advantageous.
