Our client is a New Zealand founded agency in Wellington, with offices in Sydney and a global reach. A three-in-one agency, covering brand strategy, digital marketing, and public relations with effective storytelling at the heart of what they do, they are looking for a Digital Account Manager to join their Wellington based team.

You’ll be working in the role of Account Manager – Digital, a newly created position designed to elevate and grow their client’s digital channels and drive the team’s capabilities in everything digital and social.

You’ll report into the managing director in Wellington, and work closely with the rest of the team to ensure alignment on communications and timely, high-quality account delivery.

In this role you will plan, create, and manage paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms, develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and rankings, and analyse and interpret data using Google Analytics to optimise performance and improve ROI. Working on client accounts, ensuring clear communication, strategic planning, and reporting on key metrics, you will develop and execute strategies that align with business objectives and client goals, identify and troubleshoot performance issues in campaigns and implement data-driven solutions and collaborate with creative and content teams to develop compelling ad creatives, copy, and SEO-optimised content.

With hands on experience in digital marketing roles, your skillset includes:

  • Proven experience in Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, and Google Analytics
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Experience in client and account management, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Team management experience or the ability to mentor and guide internal teams
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and strategic mindset
  • A basic aptitude for visual design (with programmes such as Canva)
  • Willingness to attend client events and conferences, with strong networking skills
  • A commitment to continuous professional development
