Overview
This could turn out to be the best and only job you will ever have. This position is ground level for a start-up that has been operational for 12 months. You have to have a healthy appreciation and interest in news cycles, what is of public interest and what sells. This is whether it’s on a local, national or global scale. Sound news judgement is crucial as is the ability to talk with knowledge and authority to News Producers and Assignment Editors and News Directors.
– view latest images from around the world and assess newsworthiness
– select footage and especially footage or pictures that are unique or exclusive
– distribute via our proprietary system and on occasions, contact originators and align with media companies around the world. You will often co-ordinate eye witnesses in real time with newsrooms, helping the story get to air.
– this is a remote position, but with plenty of back up.
We offer a high degree of flexibility and you can work at home or on the run, or overseas, or whilst on holiday.
There is plenty of scope for the right person to help influence growth, strategic direction and start with founders.
