Who are we

My Client has the responsibility for leading the development of their sport throughout the country. It has a proud tradition of widespread participation and sporting excellence from grass roots through to international level.  They aim for their sport to continue to be a sport of first choice for all Kiwis.  With strong viewership and love for the game, they provide opportunities for connection with the sport at all levels.

About the Role

Based in Auckland we are seeking a relationship savvy, solutions focused, team player to play a pivotal role and support the team across the sport’s multiple partnerships.

This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and works closely with the Commercial Partnerships and Funding Lead.

Key responsibilities are:

·         Nurturing and growing the relationships with partners.

·         Nurturing partners love for the game and for the brands, while also ensuring that they reciprocates as you advocate for the partners

·         Working closely with all areas of the business, assisting them with partner integration.

About You

You are someone who has high aspiration for your career, and are likely  to be working in a similar role or at an advertising agency. You will be an effective collaborator, highly organised and thrive on variety. You will have a sound knowledge and application of business polices, processes and practices, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

You will be able to demonstrate your skills and experience in providing solutions, thinking quickly and be strong at developing relationships.

Your referees will describe you as someone who has ‘good energy’, is detailed and a consistently dependable team player. They will also say that you have a warm and engaging personality with a great customer service focus. Things move quickly in our sport  so you will need to be agile and able to multi-task, just like in the game!   Finally, ideally, you will also have a passion for netball.
